Learning through Parallel Contextual and Curricular Based Environments

We are excited to explore an expanded form of contextual learning known as "The Institutes at Wildwood." Through a combination of hands-on activities including sharing documents, videos, Q & A, and experiences, we will compare and contrast the challenges of curricular and contextual learning as we share our developing multidisciplinary educational model that utilizes the strengths of each.

We hope we all walk away from this workshop with a better understanding of how to leverage both types of learning to integrate content within authentic contexts (vs. simulations) while also supporting and encouraging the transfer between curricular and context-based knowledge.
